Damage Level: 4 (Damage 33 Ammo: 4 (150) Range: 5 (100+ meters) Projectile Type: Phantom, Physical plus particles Projectile Speed: 4 Fire Rate: 3 Heat Generation: 2 (Rapid reapeted Fireing will cause severe heat issues with this weapon, heavy heat sink usage is advised.) Ease of Aim: 5 (Fast traveling prim, large contact radius.) Special: Can pass through multiple persons and inflict damage on each, has a large contact radius. Splash Size: 4 (Not a technical splash, but wide impact radius as it flies) Point cost: 6 Overall review All in all, these weapons seem strangely usefull, yet horribly underused. The Good! These weapons have a fast traveling projectile with a wide particle projection around itself, resulting in a 2-3 meter wide hit radius for the weapon. At 33 damage, rapid fire, and very easy to hit, this weapon will readily destroy lights, mediums, and heavies alike. The bad... These weapons produce a lot of heat, and weigh in at a cost of six points, regulating them to heavy or larger mechs to keep the heat controllable in heavy combat. Still usable on medium mechs, be prepared to use no other weapons to help keep your system cool. In addition, these weapons lack the dps to effectively kill bio mechs, so be cautious of your targets and pick and choose your fights. All in all, a very unique, and a very viable weapon if fielded correctly. Give it a try and watch those fliers melt!
