Overview Is the flathead as flat as a chalkboard, or as flat as a marble?

Mech For Review: Flathead

Health levels: 1.5 (600 health)
At only 600 health, it’s not the weakest of light mechs, but certainly not the strongest either. Choose your battles wisely, or you’ll find your death pretty quickly.

Speed: 4 (Without daac) 5+ (with daac and run)
At it’s default speed, this little bugger is pretty fast. With percs and a Daac, it runs fast enough to make even some warpers cry.

Flight capability: 4
Capable of long, soaring jumps, a Jump jet will turn this mech into a close cousin of a hover mech, yet it’s just barely too heavy for long, continous flight. Use your jump jets to scale heights quickly, but watch for the cieling prim.

Hitbox Size: 5
For such a small mech, it’s hit box seems to be spot on! However, the weapons that get added to it’s otherwise fine chassis quickly skews this, and makes it look very strange and hard to hit.

Weapons that come with: None!


Overall review
A plain, jain, vanilla weaponless mech. As a weapons platform, for a light mech it makes a great first choice, blending health with speed and bouyancy nicely. However, if you don’t have the extra money to spend on weapons, don’t get this mech, otherwise you’ll just end up staring angrily at people.

In my opinion, if you already have weapons for a light mech, grab this little beauty, and explore it’s wonderous running and jumping abilities.

I would give this mech a five out of five, but since it has no weapons, it gets degraded to a six.
